A first time champion will be crowned as Coach Hamrick and Coach Vivek clash in the 9th installment of the L.E.D.'s championship game.
"KEEP DOUBTING US!": I've picked against Coach Hamrick and One Eyed Monsters every round during these playoffs and they continue to prove me wrong. Is it because a rookie should take their lumps before getting some respect? Or is it because they just don't appear to be a sexy roster? I've stated time and time again that this team is incredibly resilient and scrappy after losing their top two draft choices for most of the season. Coach Hamrick committed to playing this season just hours before the draft and constructing their team. But despite all of those obstacles, the One Eyed Monsters are in the Dick's Super Game in their very first season. Incredibly impressive and deserving of our respect. In order to complete a truly historic L.E.D. season, Coach Hamrick and One Eyed Monsters are going to have the opportunity to steal the win on Monday Night Football. QB Josh Allen and WR Stefon Diggs are going to be critical keys to victory as the Bills take on New England. But New England held both of these players in check when they met earlier this season. The same can be said for WR Robert Woods (vs. Seattle) and RB Melvin Gordon (vs. LAC), who also play against teams that were previously difficult matchups. Hopefully some adjustments have been made since these previous matchups that will spring a boatload of offensive points for this team. RB Kareem Hunt will also need to be productive as the Browns are looking to comeback and capture the division lead from the Steelers. Finally, WR Mike Evans should have plenty of opportunities to put up a yards and points against a porous Detroit secondary. It's also worth noting that One Eyed Monsters 2nd round pick, TE George Kittle, is expected to play this week, but will be on a pitch count per HC Kyle Shanahan. Is Coach Hamrick willing to risk re-injury for a boom-or-bust performance by the dominant TE?
One thing we know for sure: This team is not sexy. But they DO NOT CARE. All they've done is win when they needed to. Can they do it again on the league's biggest stage? BACK FOR VENGENCE: Coach Vivek returns to the Dick's Super Game for the 2nd time -- and this time he's looking for more than consolation money. Shiva Kamini! is looking to cash in big time on their dominant 2020 season. Shiva Kamini! of 2020 looks like a solid championship squad that was worthy of all of their accomplishments this season. But there is still one box left to check... As previously stated, this team has few if any weaknesses. This team is compromised of (almost) three 1,000-yd WRs, two 900-yd RBs, and a QB that has thrown 40 TDs through 14 games. Holy. Smokes. There's not a whole lot to breakdown for this team. They are made up of playmakers and shakers who have been consistent all year long. Look for a big performance from QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Aaron Jones, and WR Corey Davis in what will be a high-stakes contest. Green Bay is looking to hold onto the first-round bye, while Tennessee is still fighting for the best playoff seeding in the AFC. Shiva Kamini! needs to put this contest of reach on Sunday night and give One Eyed Monsters a point deficit that'll be difficult to close on Monday Night Football. Hold onto those beers, Vi -- you won't know if they for celebrating or medicating until late Monday night. WINNER: ONE EYED MONSTERS
